The EC5 connectors are solid. I use them on my 6S batteries for my helicopters. As always, excellent service from HeliDirect. My orders are always shipped very quickly and most of the time I have what I order in just a few days. Do to the Christmas season and no one wanting to work for the US postal service, getting a package now is painfully slow. If Helidirect didn't ship so quickly, I might not see my last order until next year. Thank you HeliDirect for your very fast shipping.

The HeliDirect order was confirmed quickly and I received several follow-up emails to let
me know how the shipment was progressing - very impressive. There are many other connectors on the market but all came with very mixed reviews. I found the recommendation to get connectors from HeliDirect on one of the RC forums. The EC5 connectors came without instructions and this was my first experience with them. I found how-to videos on the internet which gave me the information I needed. The only HeliDirect video I could find was from 2012 and it was for a different style (and also made me doubt I had received the correct ones), but that, combined with the other videos, got me on the right track. I used too much solder initially which spilled onto the outside of the connector, but got the hang of it quickly. I'm very pleased with these connectors and would buy them again.

The EC5 connector work out perfect on my cables between my power supply and charger. I also used these to serial connect two 6S batteries for my helicopter.

I’ve been using the EC5 connectors for years on my larger helicopters and now planes too. These will actually be used to convert my 5 Traxxas trucks and batteries. Simple to adjust tension and way more Convenient to have everything using the same plugs. Also a common plug for many BNF planes and helicopters.
