Awesome batteries
Have a Talon 90 powered Hangar 9 ASH-31 1/3 scale sailplane. This pack is a perfect match of weight, size, and capacity for this airplane. It is primarily launched by aerotow but the motor capability gives loiter and many extended go-around excursions with plenty of reserve left over. Low C rating helps keep things cool in the enclosed motor/esc/battery area. Expensive pack but you get what you pay for.
I was a Roaring Top Battery man. I fly various 90-80mm EDF Jets only. I only used Roaring Top 6S 5500 70c Lipo Batteries in my EDFs. They was the best I could find on the market and at a reasonable price. I thought I was the talk of the town with my low fast passes in front of large crowds, until someone came by me in the same F-16 90 mm EDF I was flying. He was using a Pulse 6s 5600 80c Lipo Battery. I’ve not look back on Roaring Tops again. I’m now a Pulse Man !!!
Pulse are not cheap batteries but every one I’ve had has lasted for years and stayed strong forever. If your charger will do it, you can charge and discharge at very high amps with no damage to the battery. If I keep them at storage voltage, I get my money’s worth and then some.
Received sooner than originally expected and packaged with care. Haven't been able to try these out yet (in colder climate), but expect them to perform like Pulse. The higher C rating should keep the packs in good shape for many cycles. Can't wait to get these in the air!
